WHO WE ARE

We are a passionate team of environmentalist, marketers, designers, engineers, and hobby gardeners located in Selangor, Malaysia.

Our group establishment started back in 2011, where our focus was on developing innovative solutions to divert food waste from the landfills while improving sustainability. We came up with commercial units suitable for hotels, restaurants, schools, hospitals, factories, wet markets and all types of food outlets.

WHAT INSPIRED US

At MunchBOT, we believe there are cleaner and more useful solutions to handle organic waste from home. We were inspired by sharing the joy with our plants and the environment in a convenient and stylish way. Making MunchBOT a lifestyle on its own. Therefore we linked both technology and the power of nature to efficiently give us a way to turn our food waste into food soil.

Many generations of prototypes and almost 3 years of testing have led us to our final design of MunchBOT.

WHAT MunchBOT STANDS FOR

The name MunchBOT comes from a combination of 2 words: “Munchy – Robot”. The words represents automated food waste munching process.
